Really enjoyed this. Whilst the details differ, the experience of being in a room full of people you know but have never met, is very reminiscent of my experience with the Rockin' The Suburbs community. Flying 4000 miles in the autumn of 2022 for SuburbsFest was a highlight that I'll never forget. Getting to play music and drink beer with them made it even better.
The Sticks played at the Chicago edition and it was a genuine treat to meet some many great folks from the RTS community. Got to meet a bunch on the road last summer too. Y'all are very much a similar breed.
