"On the Road Again" by Canned Heat (1968). Quite different than the breezy title done 100,000 times by Willie Nelson.
Canned Heat introduced me to that dirty, bluesy, one-chord, boogy-woogie "drone" sound that was so different than anyone else was doing in the late 60s. At the time, I was barely a teenager, new to music, and didn't have any idea who John Lee Hooker or Howlin' Wolf were. But I was instantly drawn to Canned Heat's guitar-harmonica-tambura funk/vibe. Especially the long version.
And nobody sounded like Alan Wilson, then or since. Another one of the Group 27 ... gone way too early.
•Bruce Hornsby & The Range “The Valley Road”

"Racing in the Street"- Bruce Springsteen
