That was great. I'm about your age and have also reached a point where any time I learn a life lesson I think, "shouldn't I have learned this before now?" I try to follow that up by thinking of the people who NEVER seem to learn, and that gives me some comfort. :P
It's important to find that balance and perspective for sure. I still love the idea of learning, I just sometimes feel like I learned the wrong stuff at the wrong time and that causes me to lean into my self-doubt and the cycle spreads downward.
Recently, I have been turning that around. Even if I'm late to the party, it still feels good to be here.
