WAIM Radio #026: That Year
This week on WAIM, we're pulling out the calendar and going back through history, one year at a time.
This week at WAIM, we’re diving back through musical history . . . sort of. For the upcoming episode of the radio show, we’re digging through songs named for specific years throughout history.
We’ve got a full hour of tunes that focus on a specific year in time. These songs mark the beginning of Hitler’s reign in Germany, moments of political upheaval, represent a dystopian future, and simply harken back to a quiet day in the midwest in the early 20th century.
It’s a fun and furious hour of tunes that covers techno-pop, glam, indie-folk, goth, folk-punk and more. Be sure to check out the full playlist on the sheet below.
Did we miss your favorite? Tell us about it.
Cheers,
Matty C
