I awoke in Marshall, Arkansas on a warm and clammy Wednesday morning. It was early when I pulled back the sheets and headed for a shower in the confines of my dingy, but affordably priced discount room along State Hwy 65. Unable to find any coffee in Marshall, I drove northwest towards Branson and my friend, Garth Sever.
Gareth is a good friend from the Stand Up with Pete Dominick crew which I have written about here extensively. It’s a podcast community that has been a big part of my life for the last few years. On this tour, I have had the chance to hang out with myriad Stand Up folks, and I was thrilled at the prospect of spending some time with Gareth and his family.
