After a wild round in the Sweet Sixteen, including upset losses to the top two seeds, we have winnowed our way down to just eight albums.

After eight weeks of contests we find ourselves with just eight debut records left standing. Before we get to this week’s matchups, let’s take a look at last week’s action and where the bracket stands.

There was only one upset in the four matchups but it has huge repercussions as Led Zeppelin knocked out The Cars, the number two overall seed in the tournament. From the moment I began this tournament I was sure that the first record from The Cars would take the crown. Just goes to show how much I know.
