A baker's dozen of cinematic treats to give you a window into just what kind of movie lover I might be.

I don’t remember where I first saw the idea of 13 films to get to know me, but I was entranced at the outset. Immediately, I began to discuss the idea with my film loving friends. Of course, I began working on my own list.

The act of crafting the list was more difficult than I had expected. Because it’s only thirteen films it meant leaving out some of the most important and foundational films of my life. Still, a baker’s dozen titles was enough to highlight a few of the greatest films I have ever seen, but also allowed me to say something about myself as a movie lover.

While I would probably alter this list today, I have left it unchanged for you as it stood when it was first published a year and a half ago. Hope you dig it.
